Each month one of East Valley’s Officers will be featured.
This month is Cindy Tatsumi
Third Vice President – Ways and Means Chairman
I am very honored to hold the position of Ways and Means Chair.
This is an opportunity, with the help of my wonderful committee, to raise funds to fulfill the projects of EVRWF. Since assuming my position, my circle of new friends has grown by leaps and bounds.
And bound together we are by the same fundamental beliefs of our conservative party. So, I want to thank the nominating committee for selecting me and also to all of the members, for their positive support.
I would like to highlight our upcoming events. In March, Flags of American Pride , will be selling handcrafted patriotic pillows, oven mitts, aprons , jewelry and more, for our fundraising efforts. I think you will truly enjoy this opportunity to purchase items for yourself and for gifts.
Also in March, we have a new project! We are going to be selling children’s books. These four beautifully illustrated books teach children all about the White House, and the legislative process; one of the books is titled, “Woodrow, The White House Mouse”. Currently, our former President, Judy Tomak, is and has been distributing these books to school children throughout the Coachella Valley, as part of the Education Program of EVRW.
Of course, April is our Spring Stylin’ Fashion Show by CAbi; Susan Brown, Consultant. Included is a delicious lunch, Silent Auction, raffles and music by Christian Chalifour, harpist and Director of the Coachella Valley Symphony. Please come and invite friends and support these events to help raise money for scholarships for local graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education.
