Washingtale comes to East Valley!

Woodrow G. Washingtail is the President of the United Mice of America and the "Commander in Cheese”.

* Woodrow, the White House Mouse, is a favorite book read by First Lady Laura Bush when she visits classrooms. It explains the Executive Branch of government by showing the duties of the newly elected mouse president, Woodrow G. Washingtail, and takes children on a short tour through the White House. * Woodrow for President, eaches children about voting, campaigns, and elections by following Woodrow G. Washingtail as he goes from being a community volunteer, to city council, to governor, to declared candidate for President --- where he would serve as the nation's "Big Cheese".  * House Mouse, Senate Mouse, explains the Legislative Branch by way of a second-grade classroom that writes to Congress asking them to declare a National Cheese. The story follows the Senate and House of Representatives as they work through a bill, finally presenting the finished product to the president --- a declaration that American Cheese should be the National Cheese.  *Marshall, the Courthouse Mouse teaches children about the judiciary branch of government through Chief Justice Marshall Mouse and his fellow justices on the Supreme Court of the United Mice of America.
