Support Our Troops Chairman, Anne Taylor
At our April program we launched our program of collecting items to send to the military overseas. Every purchase is tax deductible. Posted online and in the roster is a list of items that are most requested. A box will be at every program for your convenience in dropping off items. Mary Bono's office has offered to place a collection box for our program in her campaign office. We are looking for additional drop-off sites as well.
In June we will start following Jacob Klassen, graduating from Palm Desert High School  and will be enlisting in the Armored Tank Division of the U. S. Army. We will follow him through his time in the Army. One of his favorite inspirational quotes was made by Ronald Reagan and is "Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged".
